2008 Officials Clinics
Swim officials are a critical element of any fair, well-run meet. PASDA relies on member clubs' untrained parents to supplement the numbers of USA Swimming- and YMCA-certified officials voluntarily work meets in the association.
In support of the above, PASDA will offer at least three officials clinics this year to provide training to parents interested in working on deck as an official. Details about these clinics are as follows:
* Saturday, June 14, 9:00 a.m., at Nassau Swim Club, Princeton Township
* Tuesday, June 17, 6:30 p.m., at Twin Rivers Swim Club, East Windsor
* Saturday, June 21, 9:00 a.m., at Hopewell Valley Golf Club, Hopewell Township.
Each clinic runs about two hours. Swimming or officiating experience is NOT required, nor is a reservation – just show up! Directions to the host clubs' pools can be found on the PASDA website on the Directions to Club Pools page.
